It was a tough away-day for the U16s Grizzlies on Saturday 22nd February, as they travelled up the M6 to face unbeaten league leaders Stockport Falcons.
Much of the damage was done in the first half as Stockport showed why they are on course for the league title - but the Grizzlies kept battling through the the game and improved defensively in the second half.
Offensively, the Grizzlies also found more ways through a well drilled Stockport defence as the game progressed and were unlucky not to score more themselves, with the ball not quite landing after getting into great positions.
It was a game for all the players to take experience from in what is our first year at NBL level - and, as always, we quickly refocus and go again as we head into the final 4 weeks of the season with some more big games to come.
MVP: Blessing Mlambo

MVP was awarded to Blessing Mlambo, who showed top quality on drives to the basket to keep the Grizzlies going against a strong Stockport team.
