Our U14s booked their place in the Playoffs Quarter Final today with a hard-fought victory over Northwich.
The Grizzlies began strongly and built a 12-6 lead at the end of Q1, and continued their good scoring in Q2 to extend their lead to 30-19 at half time, with our #17 Henry in fine form hitting 18pts.
Q3 saw Northwich threaten a 2nd half comeback with a string of unanswered scores, but a time-out to calm things down then a well-timed trio of baskets from Will helped keep the Grizzlies ahead by 10pts going into the final quarter.
Q4 was another close battle with both teams racking up more scores but the Grizzlies defended well and took their chances - including one last big 3 pointer from captain Jesper - to hold off Northwich and close out the game with a 9pt victory, and with it a place in the next round.
Coach Tom Watson said - "It was another solid team performance where everyone contributed as they came on and off the court throughout the game - showing great defensive awareness, good decisions on passing, and great finishing when it really mattered."

MVP was awarded to Will, for scoring a crucial 10 pts and setting the tone for a great performance.
