2024-25 SEASON UPDATES

** LICENCING UPDATE!! **

Hi all,

I have had a few queries recently about what people need to do next and what's left of their to do lists to get ready for the upcoming season. I will break it down for you here!

1. CLUB REGISTRATION

Complete the club registration form found on our website. This provides us with basic information, emergency contact details, photo/video permissions as well as provides the information required to invoice you for your club registration fees. These fees are sent out MANUALLY by myself so you will not be asked to pay anything upon completing the form. An invoice will be sent separately by the end of August.

2. BASKETBALL ENGLAND membership.

Players will all need a membership to Basketball England in which they will need to purchase a player licence for the relevant league. Our u14s need a REGIONAL licence, and our u16s need a NATIONAL licence. any u17s and u11s players will only need a REGIONAL licence.

PLEASE NOTE: The portal to licence your players is currently undergoing maintenance and should be open soon. Once we as a club have been given the green light for the portal, we will communicate this to you all and you will need to proceed to purchase your player licences. ALL REFEREES AND TABLE OFFICIALS WILL NEED THEIR OWN MEMBERSHIP AND LICENCES.

Once all players have their licences for their respective leagues, I will then be able to allocate them to a team on the Basketball England portal. This means you will receive emails informing you that you have been added/removed from a team. This is simply admin I need to do to ensure all players are allocated correctly for insurance purposes.

We will help anyone who struggles with this process.

3. GYMCATCH

You will all need to purchase your GymCatch membership that aligns with what team you are allocated to for the coming season in the first week of September. Do NOT book into any sessions unless you have purchased this package.

Any members wishing to join sessions who ARE NOT on one of our league teams can continue to book in on a pay as you play basis.

4. SESSIONS

As of the 1st of September, all sessions revert back to their usual format. Mondays continue with the u10s/u12s and u16s at Eaton Bank, with u14s and Seniors at CHS.

u14s League team have team training at Eaton Bank every Wednesday from 8pm. u16s/u17s have their team training at CHS every Friday at 7pm.

If you have any queries, please send us a message on our social pages or an email via the website and we will get back to you. We also have WhatsApp available.

Thanks again for supporting the Congleton Grizzlies.

Coach Ryan
